One of the rising stars of the Cote de Nuits.
The wines of Domaine Dujac
The Dujac estate produces many prestigious Grands Crus appellations: Bonnes Mares, Charmes Chambertin, Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint Denis, Echezeaux and Romanee St Vivant. This 18-hectare vineyard, belonging to the Seysses family, is cultivated according to the biodynamic principles on clay and clay-limestone soils. It is located in the village of Morey St Denis. The ageing potential of these Grands Crus is 20 years or more. The most popular vintages are: 2015, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2002.
In 2009, the Bonnes Mares and the Charmes Chambertin wines stood out, thanks to their finesse and smooth texture, worthy of real Grands Crus. For its 2014 vintage, the Clos de la Roche, a velvety wine, quite deep, got the remarkable mark of 18.5/20 in the Revue des Vins de France. The 2015 vintage of Clos Saint Denis and Echezeaux are renowned. Indeed, the latter is full of spicy, elegant flavours, with fine tannins. All of this makes it a very intense wine. The Domaine Dujac estate also produces three 1er cru: Morey Saint Denis, Gevrey Chambertin premier cru les Combottes and Vosne Romanée premier cru Malconsorts, as well as Morey Saint Denis Village. For white wines, there are two 1er crus: Puligny Montrachet premier cru Folatières and Morey Saint Denis premier cru Monts Luisants.
